Artisanal fishermen working in the brackish coastal lagoons of Valizas famously supply premium shrimp, attracting tourism, gastronomy, and commerce. But when an unusual climatic effect interrupted the communication between the ocean and inlets of this ecosystem at an inopportune time, it caused a bumper harvest that turned catastrophic.

Climate change, mobility and inequality
The lives of domestic workers in Montevideo could be affected by the impacts of climate change and climate variability. At risk is a fundamental factor in achieving a certain level of well-being and reducing vulnerability: mobility.

Commuter town
A large part of the population of Ciudad del Plata will be affected by the flooding projected by the Ministry of Environment due to climate change. In this investigation, Amenaza Roboto used the latest technology available to visualize the impact on the population and ecosystems as accurately as possible.

To produce this investigation, public open databases of the Uruguayan State were used and new databases were created and made available to the public in open format for reuse in Amenaza Roboto's GitHub library.
